Despite being often overlooked in favour of Manchester, Leeds is a bustling Northern city. it has got a population of nearly 450,000 and attracts many business travellers, too.
Because of its numerous attractions, Leeds is also a popular tourist place.
Leeds boasts some pretty buildings, which include the gorgeous Corn Exchange that was designed by cuthbert brodrick in 1864. This pretty building is now an rock mall & it is grade I listed.
In addition to its gorgeous buildings, Leeds also boasts some pretty green spaces & great places of interest & historical sites.
From the high fashion found in the Victoria Quarter to the brilliant designer shops of The Light and the independent boutiques of the shopping arcades, Leeds offers visitors plenty of fantastic shopping opportunities. Whether you are looking for a brand new outfit or even an unforgettable birthday present, you are sure to find it in this lively city.
If the quick pace of Leeds’ city life gets too much for you, you will be happy to understand that the city has some spectacular greenery, comprising of the award winning millennium gardens. These spectacular gardens were built for £12 m to celebrate the millennium. The striking gardens won a medal at the chelsea flower show in 2004.
